Job's Tears (gray) 

Edible, medicinal and ornamental plant. The seeds are often used as beads and have special importance in Native Cherokee cuture.

 

Lotus (black)

Root, shoots, flower, and young seeds are edible and have medicinal properties. The flower plays significant roles in Hinduism, Buddhism and other religions. The flowers grow from the mud: no mud—no lotus.

 

Mustard (gold)

Seeds and greens are edible and medicinal. Seeds are one of the oldest spices, dating back 3000 years and mentioned in the Bible, Greens are also used to replenish nutrients in soil.
